Mold tooling is a challenging process, it require many different steps to make it as it has many parts. Either it is mould plate machining process or any other ones, everything is highly intricate. Let’s have a little introduction of mold structure right below- Mold base- The mold base consists of two metal plates which are also known as clamp plates. The bottom plate contains supporting pillars for ejector plate. The upper plate is what that is pressed down onto receive the resin. Ejector plate- Ejector plates works to lift the molded product out of the mold cavity after the mold cooled down. It gently pushes the molded component up with the press knockouts once it is finished. Mold cavity- Mold cavity is the place where the raw plastic resin takes shape of the final molded product.
