Why PET bottle blow moulding?

Image
PET moulding is simply means the use of polyethylene teraphthalate material injection or blow molding into the required product desired to be made. PET with blow molding techniques is the highly preferred combination among product packaging manufacturers. PET plastic resin is commonly used to make packaging containers for consumer products, food items, and beverages. The production of PET bottles and containers require stretching and blowing of bottle blow mould performs. Both the steps are can be combined in one machine as single stage manufacturing or done separately called as two-stage manufacturing. Properties & advantage of using PET resin It is strong, ductile, and lightweight & hence the product made by PET material is easy to transport. It is naturally colorless and transparent but available in various colors. It is offers good impact resistance to acids, alcohols, solvents, and mineral oil. So, suitable for their packaging containers. It is approved as safe material f

Extrusion Blow Molding Method and Advantages

Blow molding is a popular method of manufacturing plastic hollow products. Blow molding is of three types namely extrusion blow molding, stretch blow molding, and injection blow molding. Injection blow molding is often used to produce cosmetic containers, water bottles, and various other hollow bottle shapes using variety of bottle blow mold . Most covers and caps for these hollow shapes are also created by injection mold through bottle cap mould . Plastic products with consistence cross section and complex geometry is generally created by extrusion molding process. Some of the items manufactured by extrusion blow molding are fencing, PVC pipes, weather stripping, medical device tubing, drinking straws, etc.                 Advantage of Extrusion Blow Molding High volume plastic products can be created using this technique blow molding very quickly and efficiently. Number of plastic units can be produced in a short period of time without compromising the quality of final product.

Insert Molding Machining: Different Methods

Insert molding is a great process to fabricate a variety of products for industrial applications. There are different methods of the process and thus insert molding is of different types. Insert injection molding is a process that requires encapsulating a previously fabricated product in molten resin to produce the finished product. The inserted component is simple;an object such as a knife blade or a surgical tube, but it may also include complex products such as motor or battery. It basically includes plastic insert molding and it is ideal for improving the strength and reliability of a component. The process is cost-effective and also reduces production time by avoiding the need for secondary processes such as soldering, connecting, adhesion, etc. Based on the type, manufacturers can have different mold inserts machining requirements to complete their production demands. Overmoldingis also a type of molding, but is a two-step process in which a plastic layer is molded over
